MICRODERMABRASION is a non-surgical, non-invasive process that offers safe and controlled skin abrasion. This procedure utilizes micro-crystals, which are propelled at a high speed across the skin's surface, or stainless steel abrading wands to smooth the skin. The stimulated blood flows to the surface of the skin, which increases oxygenation, causing an enhancement of cell renewal and collagen re growth.

Microdermabrasion treats fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, solar damage, aging skin, acne scaring, and dry skin.

CHEMICAL PEELS result in brighter and more radiant skin. Throughout history, people have looked for ways to achieve a younger, more vibrant look by improving their facial appearance. If you want healthier, smoother looking skin, there is now a way to noticeably improve your complexion. A chemical peel is a procedure used to improve the appearance of skin by removing the outermost layers so that new, regenerated skin can appear. Chemical Peels also treat acne, fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, solar damage, aging skin, acne scaring, and dry skin.

A series of six to eight treatments given weekly or biweekly depending on the skin’s condition is recommended for some peels.

LED Phototheraphy(Light Therapy):  Over time, we produce less collagen and our skin becomes less elastic. Smoking, stress, sun exposure, alcohol, pollutants in the air and illness all conspire to create lines, wrinkles and scars. Skin changes may be part of the natural aging process, but now it can be slowed down. Our LED Phototherapy machine uses natural, variable wavelengths of light to gently stimulate or inhibit cellular activity to reduce the signs of aging.  A series of six to eight treatments is recommended every 7 to 14 days.  Monthly or bi-monthly treatments are recommended to maintain results.

Benefits:

  • Reduce fine lines and wrinkles
  • Tightens pores
  • Promote collagen regeneration
  • Helps skin appear more smooth
  • Increase cellular oxygenation
  • Minimize age spots and acne

Q: What is LED Phototherapy?

A: LED Phototherapy is the interaction of light delivered through Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) to activate cells causing them to produce collagen using the cell's own cytochromes to build new proteins just as plants use chlorophyll to convert sunlight into structural building blocks. Our LED system uses low wattage light directed through the skin's epidermis aimed at fibroblast cells, which produce collagen and elastin. The light stimulates the cell's own energy transport system, producing more structural proteins. This causes an increase in volume of the epidermis and improves tone and elasticity.

Q: How is LED Phototherapy different from Laser and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) therapy?

A: Other light-based skin therapies including IPL and laser treatments rely on thermal injury to the skin’s collagen, water or blood vessels to create changes in the skin appearance. LED Phototherapy does not rely on thermal energy and the related tissue trauma to effect change. Therefore, you are not subject to the variables associated with wound healing.

Q: How does LED Phototherapy work?

A:The light from the LEDs interacts with cells and stimulates them to produce new collagen and elastin. The system employees different wavelengths to stimulate specific cells Different treatments can be designed for specific applications.

Q: How many treatments will I need?

A: The number of treatments and the treatment times will vary depending on the condition being treated, the amount of surface area treated and the area treated. Since the results are progressive, you will notice more correction with each treatment and you will see improvement more in the days after treatment than immediately afterward your appointment. Since the skin continues to age, maintenance treatments will be recommended.

Q: Will the treatments hurt?

A: No. The treatment is very relaxing. The delivery of the LED energy to the skin is fast and completely pain free. The energy generated by the LEDs is cool and gentle enough to treat all ethnic skin types.

Q: Can I have LED Phototherapy with other treatments?

A: Yes. LED can be administered alone or in conjunction with other treatments. It is highly complementary with other exfoliating skin treatments such as Microdermabrasion, Dermaplaning and Chemical Peels. Cosmetic practitioners worldwide are choosing LED Phototherapy as one of their preferred treatments for acne, fine lines, hyperpigmented lesions (brown spots and freckles) and other skin problems associated with photoaging.

Q: What are the benefits of LED Phototherapy?

A:Treatments are less expensive than other light based therapies with a treatment that is pain free with no downtime.
